I used to wake up screaming because I would have this awful dream of him standing at the foot of my bed and the monocle kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger until it popped out at me!! The first time I saw him on the boardwalk (and I was an adult then) I kind of gave him wide berth... still not ready to make nice with the monster! thanks for a laugh! and a horrible memory...boo xob
